The night sky stretched endlessly above Lola as she lay on the soft grass, staring at the millions of twinkling stars. It was a clear evening, and the air smelled fresh, like the earth after rain.
She had always loved space, but tonight, something felt different.
As she traced the constellations with her finger, she spotted a faint blur—a tiny smudge of light just above the treetops. It wasn’t a star, and it wasn’t a planet.
