Rex and the River Race

Rex the raccoon was thrilled for the annual river race. All the animals gathered by the water’s edge to watch, and Rex had spent weeks practicing his paddling to be ready. He imagined himself crossing the finish line, winning the shiny gold medal, and basking in the cheers of his friends.
